What’s RMG’s purpose? 🎯

This game funnily enough came about because I noticed how fast my girlfriend’s father was able to compute some double digit integers (Good job Tim!).

Anyway, not wanting to use a out of the box solution, (as well as recently watching a video on animating a torus in Python…), I decided to build my own game, as a bit of a way for me to practice programming, and create a fun game in the process.

One way that this game has suprised me, is how it really stresses people out. As such, it’s been really awesome to whip out at pre-drinks, and that people have really enjoyed trying to beat each other’s scores.

I’ll also note that the high score at the moment is 24, which is a record held by Hayden that I’m genuinely not sure anyone would be able to beat.

When I was travelling around Croatia (Circa 02/07/26), Leila Dick (Shout out Leiluxxx), made the request to add a fast fact section to RMG.

Little does anybody really know, but I spent ~ 8 year’s attending Number Works and Words (Math Tutoring), once per week (It didn’t help, I still suck at math…)

As part of this math’s tutoring, they made you warm up your brain with fast facts! As such, I was more than happy to oblige Leila’s request! As of ~ 03/07/26, I’ve added a fast fact mode to RMG.

High Scores

I’ve also chucked in the High Scores for both the fast fact, and the addition modes of the game, just note though that this isn’t some dynamically updating list (Maybe I’ll do this some-day…), as the game just saves high-scores to a .txt file locally.

However, feel free to glaze our high-scorers!
